About the Lock Strike Jig

The Reptile Jigs Lock Strike Jig is a professional-grade tool designed to simplify the precise installation of locks and striking plates in doors. With its adjustable features and meticulous indicators, this jig ensures accurate and seamless results for doors of various thicknesses.

This jig is specifically designed to accommodate doors with thicknesses of 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, and 55mm. It comes complete with four high-quality plates that can be obtained from our shop. These plates are carefully crafted in two pairs: one pair for the lock side within the door, and the other pair for the striking plate side within the door lining.

Each plate features clear and precise indicators, providing guidance for the correct depths of the router plunge cut. The plates also include reference numbers and essential information related to part 1 or part 2. With this jig, you can achieve consistent and professional results, even when working with different door thicknesses.

Only £15 per lock set (includes 4 plates)

Screw Attachment: For standard installations, secure the jig using a couple of 15mm screws. This provides a stable and reliable setup for accurate routing.

Clamp Attachment: For doors that will be painted or when a seamless finish is required, the jig is equipped with optional attachments that allow you to clamp it to the door. This eliminates visible screw holes and provides a clean, professional appearance.

Router Guide Block: Available as an extra from our shop, this accessory enables you to easily and accurately set your router to the desired depths, ensuring precise and consistent cuts during the installation process.

Ordering Custom Plates

When ordering the plates, the process is both intuitive and efficient. Simply provide measurements of your locks and striking plates using our online form's visual aids, diagrams, and images. This ensures accurate measurements and a seamless ordering experience.

The plates are affordably priced at just £15 per lock set, which includes all four plates (2 for the lock side, 2 for the striking plate side).
